The seasonal hay fever (this is another name for allergies) affects millions of people every year. They are often caused by dust, mold, animal dandruff, plan pollen, etc.

There are two types of allergies:

1 – Seasonal allergy;

2 – Perennial allergies – all-year long allergies.

Some of the symptoms are:

-          Insomnia’

-          Headache;

-          Sneezing;

-          Coughing or wheezing’;

-          Nasal congestion or runny nose;

-          Itching of the nose and eyes.

Allergies can easily turn your normal lifestyle into a nightmare.  According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) allergies are caused by a mixed pattern of deficiency in the body – the internal deficiency – it affects the body’s ability to fight with allergens, and the external one – it is the actual manifestation of the symptoms of allergies.

Acupuncture is used to control the symptoms at first. After that a personal herbal formula is given to every patient in order to help the body to fight the allergies themselves. This way, by treating both – the internal and the external medicine, TCM can prevent this discomfort from getting into your life again, or at least reduce the symptoms for your further comfort.

The acupuncturist does not only give you a personal herbal formula, but also could provide you wit h a dietary tips to prevent further symptoms of allergy.
